History
Established in 1972, Mazda Colours Ltd. has been in the business of manufacturing phthalocyanine pigments for over four decades.
In 1992, Mazda was acquired by The Choksey Group, led by Amit Choksey as Chairman and Managing Director. Since then, strategic expansion, acquisition and innovation have heralded a phase of exponential growth in terms of capacity, product range and sales turnover. Adequate reinforcement of capital, manpower and infrastructure has further fuelled the company’s success.
Mazda is today the largest CPC Crude producer in India and manufactures a complete range of phthalocyanine pigments. Mazda has also established a trading division for AZO, Inorganic and Carbazole Violet pigments. Mazda’s total production exceeds 12000 metric tons annually and the company is growing at a CAGR of over 12%. Starting out as a domestic player, Mazda has emerged as a trusted, world-class brand.
